HUNTINGTON -- Bridgeport has played more than 200 innings of baseball this season and one at the most inopportune time cost the Indians dearly. A trio of infield hits, including two bunts by Ripley, and a throwing error by Bridgeport led to the Vikings scoring four runs in the third inning on their way to a 5-1 victory in the Class AAA high school baseball state semifinals at Marshall University's Jack Cook Field. "We had one bad inning," Indians coach Robert Shields said.
