SND Display has announced that its “Vision Foundry” project has been selected as a first-phase preliminary research project under the Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “2026 Deep Tech Challenge Project (DCP) Ecosystem Innovation Model”. The selection will enable the consortium to further define its technological roadmap, commercialization strategy, and ecosystem-building plans as it targets the next-generation display market, with a strong focus on perovskite-based microdisplays. The Vision Foundry project is led by SND Display, with Professor Lee Taewoo of Seoul National University serving as the consortium head. Participating members include small and medium-sized companies such as Aurum Material, Toprun Material Solution, and Alpha Plus, together with researchers from Seoul National University, Korea University, and KAIST. In addition, Samsung Display is involved in the project, establishing an industry–academia–research collaboration framework around perovskite display technology.
