Non-resident British property owners in Spain are proposing a compromise over the ridiculous 90 day rule which has hit them hard since Britain withdrew from the European Union. At the moment non-resident and non-European Union citizens can only spend 180 days in Spain in two batches of 90 days. This means that they are not able to enjoy their holiday home when they want, usually in the summer.
